Hilke Vollmann

Studio Manager

In 2002 Hilke completed the Time Tools team as the studio manager with more than 10 years experience within all ranges of the music management, from artist and band management over promotion and merchandise to booking.
In the beginning of the 90's she began, music- and concert-inspired, to take care of bands and artists out of her group of friends. After a practical course with the Hamburg music publisher and the artist management agency Scoop Music (Ferris MC, Such A Surge, DJ Stylewarz) Hilke committed herself in 1996 to the music business whole heartedly.

It was during her work with local Acts such as Ich-Zwerg (Mercury) that she began to make a name for herself. Throughout the management of MB1000 (BMG), Spax (Universal) and many others, Hilke was able to provide the artists with the organizational background for their success – whether it was a new album that had to be produced, a booking that needed organizing, or a Promo route.

In the beginning of 2000, Hilke gained support from the music publisher “All City Publishing”. It was here, that Hilke, together with Spax (whom she met in the days at Universal), used their knowledge and experience, particularly within the areas of HipHop and R'n'B, to support younger artists. Together with Spax, Hilke is also responsible for the conception, organization and line of RAP/HipHop Workshops in the whole of Germany.
In 2000, Hilke completed her degree in Social Scienes with a dissertation on "HipHop in Germany. The development of a media obtained youth culture."
Apart from her work as Studio Manager, Hilke looks after the Publishing area of Time Tools Publishing.
